Completed Projects by Glassy Touch
In this sun room, Happy, our customer was looking to put the final touches
on his already beautiful sunroom. With a ample amount of sunlight entering
the room through the five large windows throughout the day, the windows
looked somewhat bare with just the plain clear glass. Glassy Touch consulted
closely with Happy and decided that a clear textured and beveled solution
was what Happy needed to complete his decor. The vibrant colours from
the surrounding gardens in his back yard refract through the clear textured
glasses greatly enhancing the room as a whole.
In this living room, our client was concerned with privacy but wanted to
allow natural light into the room. She wanted to add a bit of colour to
the windows but also wanted a very elegant look. With the large selection
of coloured glass, we were able to match the glass to the colour of her
existing furniture and accents. Using straight lines and bevels, we were
able to tie the whole room together to create a total finished look.
These windows are in an open living, dining and kitchen area where the
client wanted privacy but still wanted to see outside. The use of large
bevels on the lower section allows the client to see out and the clear
textured glass allows the light in. Meanwhile the coloured glass matches
the colour of the granite counter top and the furniture unifying the overall
colour scheme of this home.
The sidelight and transom windows are located at the
entrance of this home. The beveled glass allows the owner to see anyone
approaching the door. The textured glass provides privacy, adding elegance
to the entranceway. Various colours and textures of glass can be used
in these windows.
Front
Entrance 2
The side lite in this entrance was designed with the home owners concerns
considered. They wanted to add interest to the front entrance of their
home as well as compliment the windows in the adjacent dining room. Privacy
was a concern but they also wanted to be able to see out. The window was
designed with a textured glass that provided the privacy they were looking
for. The bevel cluster allows them to see who is at the front door.
In this bathroom, privacy was the homeowner’s top priority. The
taupe coloured textured glass chosen to match the décor brings
dramatic colour to the window. The bevel cluster permits natural light
to brighten the room.
In this bathroom as in all bathrooms, privacy is of utmost importance.
In this instance, the only view from the window is the side of the next
house. The colour, design and choice of glass were chosen to complement
the homeowner’s eclectic collection of furnishings and artwork.

Bathroom 3
An abstract pattern was chosen for this bathroom window. This window
provides privacy in this bathroom area while adding an artistic element
through design. The colors for this window were chosen to match the colors
used in an adjacent window in the front entrance.
Dining Room
In this project, the client wanted to create a unified look for the
front of the house. Since the front door is in close proximity to the
dining room, a common element is used in both areas. The large cluster
in the centre allows the homeowners to see outside while the textured
glass surrounding the bevels provides the privacy they were looking for.

Dining Room 2
Designed to obscure a uninteresting view this window adds elegance
and privacy to the room while ensuring that ample amounts of light pass
through. In this window the home owner did not want to add color to
the windows they preferred the look of textured glass and bevels to
compliment the existing art and furnishing found throughout their home.
Transom Window
This transom window is over a patio door. The window was designed to
add interest and color to the living room area. The colors used in this
design were coordinated with the colors of the existing furnishing in
this room.
